This extensive, multi-level renovation focused on repairing significant water damage, creating continuous flow with new flooring, and introducing high-end custom features to maximize storage, light, and aesthetic appeal throughout the home.
Problems
The home presented several major structural, functional, and design challenges requiring a comprehensive solution:
Significant Water Damage: Damage to the dining room ceiling, wall, and hardwood floor necessitated immediate repair.
Segmented & Outdated Floors: The main floor had segmented flooring, and the second floor ensuite bathroom was severely outdated and leaking due to a damaged pipeline.
Storage Deficiencies: Both the kitchen and the main floor laundry/wet room lacked adequate, functional storage space.
Aesthetic & Lighting: The home suffered from poor natural lighting, an outdated main floor powder room, and an unattractive fireplace in the sitting room that needed modernization and integrated lighting.

Solution
The solution involved a detailed overhaul of the main floor, second floor, and exterior, focusing on custom millwork and consistent design:
Structural & Floor Continuity: Repaired all water damage and installed new hardwood flooring throughout the main floor, second floor, and on the stairs, creating a seamless, open look. New iron picket railing was installed on the stairs.
Kitchen & Storage: Installed a custom built kitchen featuring a stunning quartz waterfall countertop and backsplash, along with a custom-built wine rack and pantry to significantly increase storage. New appliances were added.
Lighting & Ambiance: Installed new lighting throughout the second and main floors. The sitting room fireplace was updated with a custom built mantel and pot lighting was added to the ceiling.
Room Updates: Completely renovated the second floor ensuite bathroom and the main floor powder room, and created a fully updated, functional laundry room.
Foyer & Trim: The existing coat closet was removed to create a large open concept foyer with a seating area, large mirror, and coat hangers. All window casings and door frames were updated, and new doors and hardware were installed throughout the main and second floors.
Exterior Touch-Ups: The entire home's renovated areas were repainted, and the exterior lighting and mailbox were updated.

Key Features
The final result features striking, custom-built elements that redefine the home's luxury and functionality:
Dining Room Focal Point: A custom built coffered ceiling with recessed lighting, creating a high end, elegant atmosphere in the dining room.
Premium Laundry Room: Ceiling high tile backsplash with custom built floating shelves and a folding table, plus new washer and dryer units.
Updated Fireplace: A custom built fireplace with a mantel and integrated ceiling pot lighting.
Seamless Lighting: New lighting throughout the main and second floors to brighten the entire home.
High-End Finish: Continuous hardwood flooring, updated doors, and new hardware on all renovated levels.
In Conclusion
This project transformed the home into a modern, functional, and well lit space. Key results include a stunning coffered ceiling in the dining room, continuous hardwood flooring, and highly functional modern kitchen, laundry room, and powder room. The extensive interior painting and updated lighting ensure the home feels cohesive and refreshed, significantly increasing its overall value and appeal.
